DreamCloud entered the market back in 2018 and has since sold thousands of its high-spec hybrid mattresses. At the time of writing, DreamCloud only has 1 mattress, but it’s clear that a lot of research and development has gone into this product and it offers a supportive, breathable, comfortable experience that all types of sleepers can appreciate. Although it is a luxury hybrid mattress, DreamCloud shows they are still committed to being affordable.
Sizes and Pricing
The DreamCloud Luxury Hybrid Mattress is available in four sizes:
- Single: Dimensions = 190 x 90 x 29cm; Price = £849
- Double: Dimensions = 190 x 135 x 29 cm; Price = £949
- King: Dimensions = 200 x 150 x 29cm; Price = £1,049
- Super King: Dimensions = 200 x 180 x 29cm; Price = £1,149
The prices quoted above are the original retail price but like most online mattress sellers, DreamCloud has regular promotions and discounts.
0% interest financing is available through Duologi (one of the few financing companies with universally good reviews), and there is both a 365-Night Sleep Trial and a Lifetime Warranty.
The DreamCloud mattress is a premium product, providing great support and a luxury finish. At the RRP, it’s a little expensive but is worth every penny. If you can get a 10% to 20% discount, which seems to be available multiple times throughout the year, it’s practically a steal.
Mattress Composition
The DreamCloud Luxury Hybrid has five layers, each specifically designed to provide optimal support and comfort throughout the night:
- Foam Base: Provides support and composes the bulk of the mattress.
- ActivEdge™ Coils: Designed to reduce motion transfer and provide support across the whole of the mattress.
- Support Foam: Optimal support regardless of whether you sleep on your front, back, or side.
- “Dream Plush” Foam: A breathable memory foam layer that offers contouring support.
- Quilted Top: A mattress cover that is super-soft and adds a luxury finish.
Feel & Firmness
The aptly named DreamCloud mattress was built with comfort in mind. It’s a “Firm” mattress that ranks as a 6.5 on the 1 to 10 firmness scale, putting it smack-bang in the middle of the Goldilocks zone.
This essentially means that the mattress is suited to all types of sleepers, although those who prefer very soft or very firm mattresses may want to look elsewhere.
The 15cm ActivEdge™ coils help to limit motion transfer and create a durable, solid base that should last for years to come. If you sleep alongside a fidgety partner, these coils will keep you peaceful and stable while they squirm the night away.
Ordering & Shipping
The Luxury Hybrid mattress is yours for 365 nights. If you don’t like it, just send it back for a full refund. It will be shipped to your door free-of-charge and refunds are also free. However, you will need to pay an additional £35 if you have an old mattress for them to take away.
