The company’s adverts are everywhere and it has sold an astonishing number of mattresses over the years, allowing it to extend its range, increase its reach, and cement itself as one of Europe’s fastest-growing bed-in-a-box manufacturers.
But how do the eve mattresses compare to the competition; are they affordable, are they well made, and should you buy one?
Sizes and Pricing
The eve Sleep Original Mattress seems to be the brand’s biggest seller and it also offers the best value for money. Available in grey and yellow (at the time of writing, the grey option has limited sizes and is more expensive) it can be purchased for between £279 and £594.

Mattress Composition
The Original Mattress consists of three layers, providing a supportive night’s sleep without breaking the bank.
- eve Comfort Layer: A memory foam layer that has a little more resistance and offers a springier sleep suited to all types of sleepers.
- Memory Layer: A supportive memory foam layer wedged between the other two layers.
- Base: A thick foam layer to provide support and durability.
The brand’s other options add more layers and advanced materials, creating a more premium product. The Premium one has additional layers designed to keep you cool, the Premium Hybrid uses springs and is perhaps the most unique of all eve mattresses, while the Light one is like a cross between the Original and the Premium.
Feel & Firmness
Whether you’re a front, side or back sleeper, the eve mattress will feel like it’s tailormade. It’s medium-firm, and should, therefore, suit most sleepers, with exceptions for those who prefer really soft mattresses.
The Premium Hybrid provides the most support and the most luxurious finish, but the Original is great value for money.
Ordering & Shipping
eve offers free shipping on all its mattress. “Standard” will deliver your mattress any weekday from 8 am to 7 pm. The drivers will not phone before delivery and you won’t be given an exact time, so this can be a little inconvenient.
If you need a specific time, choose “Designated Delivery” for £6 or “Next Day Delivery” for £10. For an extra £35, they will also take your old mattress away and dispose of it responsibly.
Returns are also free, but again, you’ll need to wait for the delivery company to show and that can happen at any time throughout the week.
